Night at the Movies-POD 68

Went to see The Hunger Games again today with my oldest son. My opinion hasn’t changed that much, but I did seem to enjoy it a little more this time around. I think I compared it to the book much less this time. So I appreciated it a little more for the movie aspect. I still dislike the fact they eliminated so many things, but it’s not a terrible movie. In comparison to the movie version of TwilightThe Hunger Games is by far a better movie. Really there is no comparison.

My wife and I will be back to having just the smalls at home after tonight. I’m driving the son back to college tomorrow. Just six weeks until we get them both back for the summer. I actually “like” my family and enjoy having them around. The bigs have both done an incredible job of adjusting to college life and living on their own.

Photos of the day are both in black and white. My photo is from the sneak previews during The Hunger Games from today. You can detect a head at the bottom of the frame, but I’m really liking the abstractness of the image. I’m also including a color photo from the same time. I’m not sure of which one I like more. The abstract or easier to read photo. My son photographed my two youngest when they went out to play basketball together. It’s their last hurrah before “big brother” leaves for college.
