Good Hair Day-POD 154

This is really the first day where I feel like I’m on summer break. I had no vacation to get ready for and no 16-hour driving day. This was a day where I drove my wife to work, went to the gym, chilled and then took my son to a baseball game. Strangely, I’m unbearably crabby. I have such an appreciation of the sacrifices my dad made with coaching baseball for close to 30 years. He coached Little League, Babe Ruth and Legion Baseball. I just don’t have the patience. It takes a lot of patience too. Maybe I have the patience, but the fact that I teach kids, this is too close to teaching for me and I need more balance. I’m not sure. But some of the kids and many of the parents (usually on the other team) drive me nuts. I do it for my boys, but man, I can’t wait for the season to end.

My daughter is taking a chemistry class and lab at a “local” college so she can go to Madrid in January. She gets to use my car. If I want a car, I have to get up to take my wife to work. Not a complaint. I also had to pick up both boys who had games tonight from the private school she is the director of. The kids range from newborns to school-age.

When I walked in to my son’s classroom, I wasn’t exactly expecting to see what I saw. Two boys wearing inflatable wigs. I had to document this. It was too funny. Thus my photo of the day entries. Both photos were shot on my iPhone and run through Scratch Cam and Snapseed. My son’s photo of the day was from a nature walk he took at a park north of us. He was a little disappointed with the lack of “wildlife” action.

Also, the new Krewella EP, Play Hard, was released today and it is simply fantastic. I mentioned something about this the other day. Here is the first video from the album.

Oh, and post number 200. Not bad since I’ve only been blogging for a little over a year.

Until Next Time,

Peace!
