First communion street photography

It’s a busy weekend at our house. Between first communion, baseball, lesson planning and Mother’s Day, we’re booked solid. I have no idea where the time goes and how we officially got to that age where we “complain” how the days are so short. But, it is what it is. Today was my son’s first communion which is a very big deal in the Catholic Church. It’s the first time that he can share in the blessed sacrement. I still remember the first time I was honored to make my first communion eleven years ago. Needless to say, the family is pretty proud of my little man.

So how did I celebrate this day? By taking photos. I wanted to “street” shoot at church yet remain respectful to the sacrement. It was really fun to watch and you could tell the kids were beginning to wear out at the end of the mass.

Until next time-
Peace!
