16 hours. That’s how long I drove yesterday. I feel like I drank for 16 hours straight. I’m about set for a quick nap.
I have pretty much been a couch potato for the day. It doesn’t look like I’ll get much accomplished today.
I’ve caught up on music a lot today. I found a Chicago West Loop neighborhood group, Krewella, who is due to release their first EP on Beatport, Monday. Krewella is an EDM trio who range from dubstep to moombahton. If you like how they sound pick up their release in the next few days.
Also out is a band called 2:54. They have that wonderful deep bass hook that is reminiscent of The Cure and My Bloody Valentine. They also have a definite shoegazer sound, which makes them instantly attractive. It’s dark and moody. Who needs more? The recently released their self-titled album.
As you can see, I have a way with words right now. Heck, I’m just glad I can form a sentence.
Photos of the day are from our road trip home. They focus on dinner at a Denny’s somewhere in Indiana and a stop at a rest stop in Tennessee. Yeah, I know. I could turn my location service on so I’d know where the pictures were taken for sure, but I really don’t want “Joe Ax Murderer” to also know where I’m located as I post the photos to Instagram live. So I’d rather be vague than dead.
Until Next Time,
